Installing OMERO from source

This section describes how to check out and build the OMERO source code on
your local machine. To install the dependencies required to run the
OMERO.server on Linux or Mac OS X, take a look at the
:doc:`/sysadmins/unix/server-install-linux` or the
:doc:`/sysadmins/unix/server-install-homebrew`.
